    A valid passport that is valid for the entire duration of your stay

  • 2. identity card or proof of identity Verification of your identity
     Upload a valid identification document. Name changes: In the event of changes (e.g. marriage), please provide evidence such as a marriage certificate.

  • 3. visa
    Depending on the duration and purpose of your stay, the right visa is crucial: 
    Short stays: Schengen visa (up to 90 days, e.g. for tourism or business trips).
    Long-term stays: National visa (e.g. for work or study).
    JIG.WORLD will assist you with your visa application and ensure that you meet all the requirements.

  • 4. health insurance
    Travel health insurance is compulsory for all types of stay. It covers medical emergencies and accidents.

  • 5.Proof of the purpose of residence
    For work visas: employment contract or invitation from the employer.
    For study visas: letter of admission from a German university.

  • 6.Proof of professional qualification
    If you have completed professional or academic training in your home country, you must upload the relevant documents. Degrees, certificates and transcripts are accepted.

  • 7. certificate of good conduct, if applicable
    Depending on the visa type and country of origin, a police clearance certificate may be required.

  • 8. language certificate
    For certain visas, such as the study or family reunion visa, a
    Proof of German language skills (e.g. Goethe certificate) may be required. However, English may also be sufficient for study and work, depending on the degree program or field of work.

  • 9. references or letters of recommendation
    In certain cases, such as university applications or professional positions, letters of recommendation may be required.

  • 10.forms and application fees:
    Fill out the appropriate visa application form and pay the visa fee, which varies depending on the type of visa.

- Registration certificate of the vehicle owner (proof of residence).
- Identity card or passport as proof of identity.

- Immunization record, especially with proof of measles protection. - Report cards or certificates from the previous school (for older children).
