What rights do I have in the asylum procedure?
Even if your asylum application is still pending, you have important basic rights in Germany. Here are some of them:
1. Right to accommodation and care
As long as your asylum procedure is ongoing, you will receive:

What is prohibited in the asylum procedure?
1. No undeclared work
You may not without a work permit and not without a contract work. Illegal employment is prohibited and can cause you major problems - for example, a fine or a ban on working.
